Orthodontic Treatment Costs

After your consultation, we will craft a treatment plan that is unique to you and addresses all of your orthodontic needs. The next step is discussing insurance and payment options. For orthodontic treatment, there are multiple variables that affect cost like length of treatment plan, additional dental appliances, types of braces, and other factors. Our staff will discuss all of your payment options with you and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to working with our patients so they feel comfortable making the best choice for their treatment.

Financing

Once you have determined the type of plan, our trained and skilled financial team will create your unique payment plan. We want to make paying for braces and orthodontic treatment as affordable and simple as possible. Our welcoming team is here to help answer any questions you may have and work with you to finance your orthodontic treatment.

Depending on the plan offered, monthly payment plans and financing are available through our office. This means individuals do not have to take out a personal loan if they do not need to.

How Much Does Dental Insurance Cover?

Before getting braces for you or your child, check with your dental insurance to see how much of the cost of braces they’ll cover. Many insurances will cover at least some of the cost with your insurance’s dental plan.

Patients without insurance or those whose insurance only covers part of the cost of braces may also find Health Savings Account (HSA) to be an excellent way to pay for them.

An HSA is usually offered to employees as part of their insurance plans. If your employer doesn’t have this option, ask your HR department about a Flexible Spending Account (FSA.)

Like an HSA, an FSA allows you to put aside a certain amount of money each month that can be used for health expenses such as braces. Yet unlike an HSA, an FSA will be owned by your employer instead of yourself. With an HSA, you’re allowed to roll over any unused funds from year to year.

We also offer financing through our office and work with your insurance provider. Our office will work with your insurance provider to confirm and benefits you may receive toward orthodontic treatment. Insurance policies vary, so we will review your current benefits and determine the appropriate course of action. Once your treatment begins, our team will file your claims. If anything changes during the course of your treatment – like benefit changes – the financially responsible party will be accountable for all charges.
